Instrumental lessons

 All instrumental lessons are on a one to one basis.  Adults and children over 7 years old are welcome to start lessons from beginners through to advanced level.

 One lesson per week is sufficient for students up to about grade 5 (A.B.R.S.M.) standard. A more flexible lesson plan is available for those who are above this level. Tuition is quite intensive so an half hour lesson is normally sufficient.

 We do offer a large range of music examinations and students will be prepared accordingly ( please see our examination results). We are happy to tutor students without exam ambitions but will always prepare students in performance technique.

  Parents of students are most welcome to sit in during lessons (but must not be a distraction to the student).

Location

The following schools are within a short walk of our premises: St Aidans RC, St Anthonys RC, St Marys RC primary, Hillview Infants, Hillview Juniors, Thornhill Secondary, Southmoor Community, and Sunderland High.

  We are opposite St Aidans RC school on Tunstall road  and there is ample parking available. Luckily, we are on a major bus route heading into Sunderland City centre. Click here for a link to google maps.
