How to make bookings

We normally ask students to make payment of a 2 lesson deposit ( £24) prior to the first lesson and pay for each lesson as they have them. This is necessary to book the teachers appointment time. As long as we receive 2 days notice of a cancellation then the deposit should remain complete and can be refunded in full should the student no longer require lessons. We will always pay a teacher for a lesson where the 2 days notice has not been given. All  cheques  should  be  made  payable  to A. C. Stuart

  Cancellations

  Cancellations can be made by phone ( an answerphone is in operation on all phone lines ) or by handing a note to your teacher the week prior to the cancellation. 

  Please give us 2 days notice of a cancellation otherwise we will have to pay the teacher out of your deposit. This deposit deduction should be repaid at the next attendance.

 Regular cancellations

 Unfortunately, regular cancellations will result in the loss of a lesson slot. We do try to fit around other activities but we will not always be able to slot in a lesson as and when a student fancies. We will notify a student if we feel that the lesson slot would be better utilised by someone else who can make regular attendance.

We can take on " shift workers" and other occupations that may require some flexibility, but please remember our expert teachers can easily find alternative arangements outside of the area and we would like to keep them here! We retain our teachers  by providing them with regular, well organised teaching schedules.

Gift Vouchers

A very popular reqest. We can offer a voucher for gift purposes as long as they are redeemed within 3 months of the date of purchase. If you are guessing that this might make a good gift then we suggest you only book 2 lessons to begin with. We become fully booked at the beginning of each school term.

Terms and Conditions

We need 2 days notice of a cancellation. In the event we do not get this notice we will have to pay the teacher from the deposit. The deposit should be topped up at the next attendance. The deposit is partially or wholly refundable depending upon the students cancellation record. Booking lessons is an acceptance of our terms and conditions and we will not enter into negotiations of our terms and conditions after the deposit has been paid.

 Please note that some of our teachers travel from all over the North East of England to attend lessons in Sunderland!

 Also please note we try to be flexible whenever possible and if you give us enough time to reorganise a lesson then we will try our best to do so.

 Every student must pay a 2 lesson deposit before their first lesson. This is refundable in the event that you no longer require tuition and no cancellations have been made to invalidate the refund. This deposit pays the teacher in the event of a cancellation without the required notice.
