Services

Many students have passed through our doors over the last 18 years. Learning Jazz, Classical, Popular and other styles. We teach all ages from 7 years old onwards and all levels from beginners to advanced. Some have become music teachers themselves (34 at the last count), in schools or privately. .

Exams are offered but they are not obligatory. We have chosen the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music ( www.abrsm.org ) as our main examining board as their standards are the highest and recognised the world over. Some guitar students prefer contemporary music and they can follow the Registry of Guitar Tutors examinations( www.registryofguitartutors.co.uk ). For percussion examinations we offer the Trinity Guildhall( www.trinitycollege.co.uk) music exams in addition to the Associated Board ones.

TUITION
Tuition is normally based on one half hour lesson per week on one to one basis. On occasions, shared lessons may be accommodated for a family group as required.
We offer lessons 7 days a week, day and evening. We have a large student roll and some patience may be required ( a week or two), to get the most convenient slot.
Adult students who can manage a daytime slot may have the benefit of extra time depending upon other lesson arrangements.
Lesson prices are currently £12 per half hour based on one lesson per week.
Tuition can be booked by appointment at the school. Please contact the school to arrange a time to register.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Due to popular demand, we can offer gift vouchers for purchase. A personalised voucher for the number of lessons required will be printed. We ask that they be used within 3 months of issue, otherwise we cannot offer a refund. We have to schedule slots with our teachers and are unable to keep a slot available for any longer than this
